Other Random Shaylie Facts
She was sleeping around 4 hours a night from birth. When she was two months old she started sleeping 6 hours a night. By the time Shaylie was 4 months old, she was sleeping between 8-9 hours a night. Some of Shaylie's favorite foods are applesauce, pears, sweet potatoes and bananas (only the Gerber brand of bananas, she will not eat any other). She started eating more solid foods around 8 months, foods like toast and jam or mostly blended but still kind of chunky normal foods. Shaylie is generally a happy baby. She really only cries if she needs something or if she is uncomfortable. She definately is a mommy's girl (for now anyway). She loves music. She loves listening to it, dancing to it, and especially clapping to it. She started clapping around 6 months old and I believe it is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Her favorite movies are Barney: Sing and Dance and Tarzan. Shaylie started sitting up around 4 months old. She is almost 9 months and still cannot fully crawl with her stomach off of the ground, although she can army crawl from room to room. She has started walking along furniture and can stand by herself for a total of 5 seconds before she falls. She can sit herself up and she can also pull herself into a standing position.
